Local artisan bread, pie and cake maker, Amos & Welsh visits Husthwaite every Saturday between 12.00 and 12.45.
Best sellers include the Five Flour Sourdough – a great all rounder loaf which is lovely for a sandwich, great for toast and the ultimate for a decent Avo toast – and the ‘Yorkshire Growler’, a hand raised pie filled with hand chopped pork fillet and bacon then seasoned with cracked black pepper, apple and sage before finally being finished with an Aspall Cider Jelly.
