Wow! What a beautiful cottage- bright, cosy and tastefully decorated. We have had a fabulous few days, lots of walking despite the rain at times. Yorkshire really is a great place to enjoy the countryside – views, beautiful villages, and friendly people. Coxwold is a pretty little village and the pub across the road was very handy. The location is excellent with great walks and places to see nearby. P.S. The bed is So comfy!

A pristine, well equipped cottage in a lovely village with a great local pub serving good food. Notable for us were the quality of the mattress, bedding and towels. The generous big basket of complimentary logs for the log burner which lasted our 3 night stay, great shower and lots of hot water. Highly recommend the cottage for two people. We had a long weekend stay, enjoying both the cottage and the quiet Coxwold village. Cottage itself: Well-appointed kitchen (often a let down with Airbnb’s – not here); comfy bed in a large bedroom; lovely log burner in the living room; helpful info pack about the area and local walks right from the cottage. We did a nice suggested round trip to Husthwaite, good to get bearings of the local area. Loved our stay at Braecote, which was easy to find along with Sarah’s excellent directions. It had modern facilities with all the beauty and charm of a cottage property, in a gorgeous village setting with simple yet stunning walks from the doorstep. There are also plenty of attractions to visit nearby including super National Trust places. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with lovely big bath towels, and Sarah included helpful things like oil, condiments and tea towels (which not all self-catered properties do). We particularly appreciated Sarah’s hamper of thoughtful and delicious treats. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend / stay again! DC Jul 2
Smart, spotlessly clean and comfortable, and beautifully positioned at the start of the moors. Good walks and things to see straight from the cottage. We have had such a wonderful stay at Braecote. The cottage has eveeything that we needed and it is decorated and finished to very high standards. Coxwold is a stunning village with some lovely walks too. It was lovely to be welcomed by milk, tea and biscuits – what a lovely touch. E&H Apr 17
We only had a few days to spend here, we now wish it was longer. A great little cottage and base for exploring east to the coast, north to the moors and west to the dales. We were very impressed with the standard of the cottage, it felt like a home from home as soon as we walked through the door and it was lovely spending the evenings in front of the fire. M&D Apr17

What a beautiful cottage! We have had a wonderful time and the cottage has been perfect for much needed relaxation. Coxwold is beautiful and clearly a very historic village and the food at the local pub is excellent. We look forward to hopefully returning next year. LR and O Jan 17
